The AANR-East Government Affairs Team (GAT) works in coordination with the AANR GAT and other Regions to fulfill the overall AANR-East mission:

Our mission is to promote and support societal acceptance of social nudity in our region.

Volunteers working in the States of Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia,West Virginia, Washington D.C. and Eastern Canada identify State and local legislation that targets or inadvertently affects nude recreation. We take this mission very seriously, and depend on you—our members—to volunteer to help keep us appraised of developments that could infringe on our right to practice nude recreation.

If you would like to volunteer to be a member of the AANR-East GAT, please contact AANR GAT Chair Tim Mullins at Tim.Mullins@aanr.com.
There are some simple things you can do to help AANR protect our rights:

  • Read your morning newspaper and your favorite news Web sites with an eye for developments that could affect nude recreation.
  • AANR dues help fund legislative tracking software that follows Congress and States. However, as the saying goes, All politics are local. And YOU are our best eyes and ears.
  • Provide AANR with your most current contact information and background. If you are an AANR member, take just a few minutes to update your membership information. We may be able to use information about career backgrounds, family size, and more to make key points to lawmakers. And we’ll be sure to have the information on the best way to contact you and let you know about important developments that could impact you directly.
  • Keep your AANR membership up-to-date—Your membership dues help fund a variety of Government Affairs efforts. From financing attorneys, lobbyists, letter-writing drives, and the Association’s attendance at Legislative shows like the National Conference of State Legislatures and the Council of State Governments—YOU make it possible.

Thanks for helping us promote, enhance, and protect Social Nudity.
